Work, work, work...and a little turkey, too.

Just another day in the life of Mog...a little boring with some more boring thrown in. Every now-and-then, something exciting happens, but I realize it's all in my head. Anyhow, I'll get to the point; I have a new video game to rant about and today's game is Gun. Gun was just released recently for PC, Xbox and Xbox 360 (not sure about PS2 or 3). Gun is a free-roam wild west game in which you run around, sometimes on horseback, and do all sorts of typical wild west things, and some not so typical. For example, there are Texas Hold'em side missions where you can earn some extra cash, and the best part is you can cheat. Not with a code or hack or anything, that's a menu selection along with check, raise and fold. Basically, you'll have 3 cards and you can only use 2. The one you don't use stays with you until the end. Once you've gotten the scalping knife, you can begin collecting lids. As long as you don't kill an enemy with a head shot, you can scalp him before his body disappears. It's quite bloody and sastifying as well. Another reason I'll never pay for therapy. There's a good collection of weapons and goodies, I have recently acquired a second six-shooter, and am now dual-wielding. I have a regular Winchester rifle, along with a sniper rifle, some sticks of dynamite, whiskey-bombs (molotovs), a bow and arrows, and a tomahawk. There are a million great things I could say about this game. The graphics are marvelous, the voice acting is at the very least believable, it's bloody as hell and it's not censored. The characters act and speak as you would expect an outlaw from the wild west to speak and act. A character or two is of course racist, like a dumb old redneck from then would be, but the game pulls this off without using racial slurs. It's a wonderful game, and if you're a fan of the free-roam genre, or love to blow the heads off people, then this game is for you.
